First off, let’s talk HSL tickets. They’re your key to the city, unlocking buses, metros, trams, and ferries with just one ticket. Such convenience! 🌍

Metro and Tram Updates: What’s New?

Now, onto the juicy details. Here’s a quick breakdown of what to expect:

  • Metro Shuffle: From June 3 to September 1, 2024, the central railway metro stop won’t be available. Instead, trams 9 and 9B will come to the rescue, ensuring you get where you need to go.
  • Espoo Line Changes: Those traveling from Espoo will find the Kamppi station as their new terminal. Meanwhile, Mellunmäki and Vuosaari routes will head to Helsinki Yliopisto station.
  • Mellunmäki’s Pause: Mark your calendars; Mellunmäki station is closing for repairs from June 3 to September 8, 2024. But don’t worry, Bus 99M has got you covered during this time.
  • Tram 8 Transformation: Tram number 8 is taking a temporary break, with bus 8X stepping in to maintain the route.
  • Minor Tram Twists: Also, look out for slight adjustments on tram routes 1, 2, 4, and 10. These tweaks aim to enhance your travel experience.
