Tour with Arto: A Trademarked Brand Built for You

It’s official (well, almost)! “Tour with Arto” is taking its first big step as a registered trademark across all EU countries. While the name might soon carry some legal weight, the heart of my tours remains the same: a deeply personal, one-on-one exploration of Helsinki (currently), guided exclusively by me.

If you’ve been on one of my tours before, you’ll know that I keep things simple, personal, and focused on offering you an insider’s take on this fascinating city. So why make “Tour with Arto” official? It’s really about future-proofing my business and expanding the ways I can share Helsinki and all future cities in Europe with you. Think of it as the next milestone in a journey I’ve been building, step by step—and cobblestone by cobblestone.

Not much will change when it comes to our face-to-face tours. All my tours will continue to be run only by me—so when you book, you know you’re getting my personal touch, a healthy dose of dry Finnish humour and sarcasm, and, of course, my love for local history and culture. You’ll never get “outsourced Arto!”

What’s new are the digital audio tours I’m now offering. Whether you’re in Helsinki or halfway across the world, you can wander (virtually or in person) with me as your guide. Why Trademark “Tour with Arto”?

Registering my name as a trademark isn’t really about bureaucracy—it’s about building something I can stand behind, ensuring that the brand (aka. me) reflects everything I value: personal service, storytelling, and a deep connection to my guests. Plus, there’s something nice about finally making the name “Tour with Arto” official—my face (as you’ll see in the image!) and name are now, quite literally, my stamp of quality.
